Somali guys and drama

Post by sexy-kitten »

Why is it Somali guys always cause drama at weddings? Dagaal lee ka soo haray man. Not only at weddings but also at Somali riwaayads, they always have to cause drama. Why?

Marka aroos ama xaflado la aadayo, maxaa inamada udiiday ineeysan dagaalamin oo ey iska baadhiyaan? Cool Gosh.. It hasn't happened once or twice, or even three times. This is constant. Inteey gaangiistaro iska dhigaayen bey dagaal iyo balayo loo baahneyn bilaawen.

I dont go to weddings that oftenly but the last one I attended (2 weeks ago in West London), some lunatic bloke tried to fight one of the 'best men' of the wedding and he was promtly thrown out by security. Laughing

It is a shame.

Adigu odey baad tahay baan filanayaa. You don't know what I'm talking about. You know when you go to weddings, and you see dhalinyaro fighting in the parking lot? My question is, what causes that? Is it because they are tipsy or is it because they have nothing else to do.

That's my question, it has nothing to do with me.

Sakhraan, in non-Somali parties, there is security. Besides, Somali men aren't supposed to be in the cir, let alone tipsy, waayo Muslim baan nahay oo waxaas ma cabno. Marka, I don't understand why fights happen at Somali parties.

LOL Kambuli, I noticed that. Why dagaalka laakin?

maybe it is the general malaise we are in.

No justification for violence. Many people regard fighting as 'normal' thing.

Cuz they are seeking attention awowgood wasooyiin. That's one of the biggest reasons I don't like going to xaflado..rowayado or aroosyo unless i really have to...

Other communities do stuff like that, but with the Somali one its like a must.. Waxyabaha qarkood kama waynadaan...

It is very difficult to get the attention of somali ladies it must be said. God knows how badly some of us have been treated by them over the years i.e. just having the audacity to ask for a number or saying 'hi' to them Sad . who said Somali men 'control' their women? absolute nonsense.

Lord,

I beg to differ on that one bro.. Yes there are the snoppy girls in every culture but Somali brothers don't take the initiative 2 approach the sisters when they like them..They will sit back, chill and warm the bloody walls before they grow a back bone and talk to the ladies..and that's not right..

Doesn't mean you (not necessarily u) were rejected once, twice or even three times that its difficult to get the attention of Somali women..Different strokes for different folks brother..

Just go ahead and talk to the girl u like and if you get rejected, wa cadiyoos..its a part of the game..

but I suspect this is the case with the Halimos in the West mainly and some of us have the luxury of finding a wife back home. That is my option now. A law student with an illiterate bride. Cool

Walaal I had the misfortune of being told to 'f*ck off' by a girl I thought highly off. We were mates for years and classmate and out of nowhere I made some advances, from that day, I have been cut adrift and I have given up on her.

I still believe the gist of your post as valid.
