The land looks fertile. Beautiful.

Excuse my ignorance but is there a river or a lake near by? where is the flood water coming from?

the local river has just bust its banks, it is called river Tana and flows to the west of the city ( few people live in the eastern side of the river, mainly non-somalis).

it is very green when it rains in Garissa.
