The shame of lying: How a friend of mine was over taken by his own lies


A year ago a friend of mine who was a member of Somaliuk.com forum emailed me to ask if I thought our moderated Dalmar1 believed his own lies. Knowing that at one time or another most human beings will make up one or two things I simply ignored the question from the curious friend and decided to give the moderator the benefit of the doubt.

And then I thought about the entire stories brother Dalmar posted in Somaliuk.com, the site he moderates, and I could not count how many times I felt like he was making up stories and passing them as facts to his readers. I honestly think Dalmar Kaahin believes that if you make up something false, no matter how whacked-out it is, it’s worth spreading such garbage for the cause of helping Somaliland to become a separate country from Somalia. And when I realized that Dalmar and few of his friends used the forum at somaliuk.com, one of the worst run
Somali sites with so much profanity and name calling mostly directed at certain clans, I left the site for good.

Not long ago Dalmar Kaahin went back to home, to Northern Somalia, and upon his return I sent him few emails to welcome him back to North America. He didn’t reply back to me but nevertheless other members of the somaliuk.com forum have contacted me to let me know that the brother’s stories are getting much more, if I try to phrase it the best way I can, out there!

And so when I read the shocking allegations from Dalmar Kaahin posted in many sites about the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia buying Hiiraan Online it didn’t surprise me at all for I know the man better than anyone else. I have visited HOL many times and contrary to what Mr. Kaahin wants you to believe it’s a fair site that posts articles from various sources. Perhaps Dalmar Kaahin and his
friends in the secessionist camp that run many sites including somaliuk.com can learn few things from HOL in the future.

For all intent and purposes no one should believe anything Mr. Kaahin writes for he is an expert of the art of lying and he would say anything and everything just for the sake of helping further his own secessionist campaign. If you don’t believe me just go ahead and read one of his many misleading postings in Somaliuk.com (The true colors of Hiiran...). It’s a shame as well that he didn’t mention to his readers that he helps run that hateful clanistic forum in which the moderator, Dalmar Kaahin, is the worst poster. I warn you ahead time that you may not like reading what he and his friends post there but in order to understand the man’s thinking and how hate over-took a
friend of mine’s heart to the point he has to make up crazy lies go ahead and read just few of his messages in his own site of www.somaliuk.com.

Advocator, you remember Idba don't you, and his very vocal depature from SomaliUK, whne he realised Dalmar was a duplitious moderator. And didn't we have proof of that when he banned Xidig Sade and King Sade repeatedly for their bad language, while Awrliqe can say anything without any problems. Now that was a battle.

Anywho, if you have read Dalmar's article, you'll realise it has a tone of a giant conspiracy, but there are precious few facts and evidence, bbut plenty of bluster and noise. What we have are some hearsay 'he said this she said that' business, with some dubious email questionnaire we never see, and this is enough proof to conclude that Hiiraan Online has been infiltrated by pro-TFG elements.

HOL is very well known for the lucid and comprehensive articles dealing with Somaliland Secession, and Dalmar Kahin is a fanatic Secessionist. One only needs put two and two together to see this is a pathetic smear attempt against an otherwise peerless news service, using the pro-TFG craptrap as a pretense.

Anywho, that's my $0.02.

Man I laughed so hard when he tried to connect HOL with TFG, he thought that since hiraan is a hawiye site, it will automatically be anti-tfg, when infact they dont write 90 percent of their artcles, they just rederict anything that has to do with somali to their website, I knew he was a spineless snake they day he banned xidigsade and prior to that, contstant editing of the post while rooting for the clinacally insane awlirqe [ who by the way turned down the offer of toe2toe ]
