do somalis ever finish studying?
i know whole somali families who are studying for more than 10 years in community colleges and yet, didn't even start a batchelor degree. what do they study? if they study a cooking course, or a security guard course, they will lie and tell you they are studying medicine. why?

Re: do somalis ever finish studying?
True most somalis take a long time to graduate --its becuz they weren't prepared -as you now there is a civil-war in somalia --and ppl have to do some catch up --plus they workd and pay bills -so they have to balance -outside life with education.
But most of us learn Doctor, computer science and engineering- most of this majors are atleast 4yrs or more--Somalis don't like easy careers that take one year like barbering, cooking, music, and acting! --its no !no!
