Somali Salvation Democratic Front SSDF
United Somali Congress USC
Somali National Movement SNM
One thing they have in commend is their cool names and nice initials.
When we are talking about success there is not a secret that SNM really indeed won their goal of liberating the country and win the peace and hearts of people.
The greatest struggle belongs to USC living and fighting the lions cave.
SSDF is the most mysterious movement what did they gain ?
How many soldiers did the movement have

USC toppled the Siyaad Barre regime so I would say they were the most successful in their mission of destroying the country.

I believe United Somali Congress really could have everything. I have heard Mengistu even invited Aideed and gave him a offer.
Let go of your demand for Ogaden and I will help you gain controll of all of Somalia.
Aideed refused and have my respect for that.
However about Siad Barre I have read he signed agreement deal with Mengistu about kicking out SSDF and SNM if Siad signed away Ogaden. ( What a .....** )
Still today I cant believe how a little clan as the Marexaans hold control over Somalia and really stole all the money of Somalia .

Somaliland National Army plus SL air defence and SL navy are the heir of SNM.
So its without doubt the strongest somali military today.
SL has both more recources and equipment and can fight both Puntland and South Somalia combined.
You have seen a bit of our army what does Puntland have ? lol
