Fact remins the same, there is no such a thing as reer Cabane or reer Bare in Jibriil Abokor geneology. Eeven if your 80 years old Habar Awal fantom man is real , he would still be old enough to remember those who supposedly joined his lineage in 1946 as I.M.Lweis claimed and naturally he would not include it in his clan.

I M Lewis has a genealogy table of the habar awal, focusing on Jibriil Abokor in his book pastoral democracy. He must have done a mountain of research into the family and his informants must have been the qadhadheyti of Habar Awal. He is in a better position to know this.


The only who can contradict his written account is a living present day 80 yearl old Jibriil Abokor elder with a minute knowledge of his clan. His gainsaying of Lewis will hold water with me.
