Hijabs, Beards, misconceptions/judgements?

Post by MujahidaFiSabililah »

Asalamu Alaykum

Dearest brothers and sisters

Do you make judgements/misconceptions on the basis of an individuals apperance. For example... do you automatically assume a muslimah in an abaya, full hijaab is practicing?

And vice versa would you assume a muslimah wearing like for example a small hijaab backwards (minority of somali gurls do) with jeans but covered up with long jacket isn't practicing?

Same misconceptions can be made on a guy with a beard for example.

Please be as honest as you can, we are all humans and we all come with errors and weaknesses, but when we are reminded of them with knowledge only those true muslims will implement them, which then helps us to correct those errors and turn them weaknesses into strengths.

definately
i got so much respect for girls that wear hijab
they make me feel bare guilty
but i kno girls that half wear it and kinda half practise
and they still get alot of respect from muslim boys compared to someone whos not wearing it at all
