Is it true or just another Somali myth, that

Post by Lord Diplock »

Clinton met (during the fag end of his presidency) some Somali academics (professors) just after the Carta Somali Peace Conference in Djibouti and asked the said academics a pertinent question: 'Do you know the root cause of your problems guys [being a faiedl state]?' and the Somali men responding lamely:'clan division perhaps?'....... Apparently Bill Clinton told them that: it is in the national interests of United States and Israel to see a failed or weak Somali states (Whilst using Ethiopia in the process) because they do not want to see a strong Egyptian state... Egypt independence depends on the Nile river for its survival and the theory goes, an embolden Ethiopia can stand up to Egypt by threatening the flow of water. the upshot of this theory is that: there will be no a weak or no Somali state for years to come and the US and its allies will employ the tried and tested tactic of divide and rule (along clan lines or support one region over the other)...

Does anyone buy this theory?

I reckon there is a truth in it but I am not sure how far...it is staggering to see how even EDUCATED Somali men and women (in this forum, I include myself in this shameful list) eat, drink and sleep qabil BS.

Lord D.

One thing I am sure walaal is that this world is scary and full of conspiracy Sad When I think about it, it scares me walaahay....But I believe walaal, that a nation can be destroyed only and only by its own people....Look at Korea, look at China do you think they could be spared if it was possible?...The question is do we have people that are even close to human beings?

Look at this forum how Somalis are treating one another how they hate to see a prosperous Somalia...Everyone is full of hate for the other clan and we consist of clans... And of course there are a handful Somalis that are free of this cuqdad and hate...

But I always say and I will say now... Cid wax ina yeeli kartaa ma jirteen haddii aynaan inaku wax is yeelin:

Gudin yahay imaad goyseen haddaan gabalkay kugu jirin Sad

Egypt also meddles in Somali affairs with a view towards their strategic interests.

But at the end of the day Somalia is very low priority for the world.

We can fix our country in short order if only we were not governed by fear.

Fear is a very potent emotion. And emotion, any kind of emotion, is the enemy of rational thought. Without reason you are focked.

'it is in the national interests of United States and Israel to see a failed or weak Somali states '

I am the most cynical none conspiratorial person alive, and i would vehemently agree with this statement.I think a strong powerful Somalia would be a threat to Ethiopia, Egypt and consequently United state slash israel. Proof of my assertions?? In the recent ICU bru ha ha, where Somalia--in a freak glimpse of hope--saw a temporary light at the end of the tunnel. ICU became so close to united Somalia and maybe for the first time bring a united strong government. Somalis could have had the pontential to unite under the banner of Islam. This was a possibility, a dream far better than imagined. Suddently you see United states caring-- sending helicopters, paying neighboring, used foolish african countries to to sabotage this possibility. I mean from out of the blue moon. Why didnt they show up when Moryaans were looting and slaughtering innocent people in the streets of xamar? Where was united states then?? Sure-- in the banner of terrorism and the Islamic radicalism, could be their motives. But come on-- what can a bunch of ICUs walking around with Xinaa beards, lifting one side of their ragged macawaiis as they walked awkwardly, only to expose their chicken legs DO to bring threat to the West?? I mean--wasn't it more easy to have terrorists during the moryaans days than it is for a religious bunch of ICUs who are business men in disguise??The fall of ICU was the worst thing that could ever happen for the hope of Somalia, and consequently the worst thing that could happen to us--Somaliners. For we have a personal investment in this fallen government, our own Eyes only could have been elected as the first midgaan first lady of Somalia. lol Eyes only went into a depression roller coaster for gods sake. I mean-Ogadens idiots like Lord diplock is a good symbolic example with what is wrong with Somalia today.

I suspect United states and neighboring african countries are taking Somalia resources, dumping poisonous material to the counry without any regard to accountability, taking advantage of no mans law land. I suspect-- Somalia will never see a government at least for another 2 dacades, where sadly the hard reality will hit them-- it will be too late!

i have always belived in this theory.. its perfectly simple... somalia unlike most muslim countries is 100% muslim, 1 langauge, we are properly the only homogeneous country in africa if not the world. think of us united we would be unimaginable, powerful, we are strong proud people with hearts like warriors. and we had a strong nation, the west was surprised at how we defeated ethopia in 1977 the so called african lions, that were never colonised.

we need to wake up and stop qabil and find a solution....

all somali people pls do duca... and in the name of allah give up qabil....

i would give my qabil anyday for somalinimo.

Ofcourse if Somalia become strong it will be a threat to the kuffar ruling Ethiopia and most definitely other Muslim countries may imitate Somalis..."if they did it why not us" So the Islamic Revolutionary will spread. In the eyes of the west keep them weak before they gain strength and momentum under the banner of "war on Terror." We Somalis are really stupid for fighting each other and for that reason we will continue to be weak and ruled by foreigners. We will see how long it will last!!

Basra

Maansha Allâh , the first time I wholeheartedly agree true voice is coming out from Cool Basra , what else could go wrong for the Somalis except for their blind hatred of each other , girl you spoke the truth , You have my respect from Now ON .

listen guys ----Egypt , US , Ethiopia , Kenya , Eriterea and yemen don't give damn about Somalis except their hidden interest . ,,, Egypt is there for her interest to closely monitor the Nile river in Ethiopia , Eriterea is there to open another war front to the Ethiopians , Yemen is there to get rid off all Somali refugees, Kenya and Ethiopia don't want ever see strong Somalia Nation . US wants to see a somali government who works with American interests .
