Seriously. The forum has become utterly unbearable. The forumers are horrendously boring, the topics are excruciating painful, and yes .....the place is dead. What happened really? Does the place need Basra to be alive? How pathetically sad. Very sad indeed.
Anyway

Happy Friday. I am excited, this Sunday there is a series premiering in Showtime cable-- its called the Tudors. The Roman series just ended. This new fantastic series is about the royal English Tudor family in the 16th century. King Henry VIII and his drama-- oooooh how i am excited!! He was the father of Queen Elizabeth the l, his bastard daughter with Anne Bouleyn. i am soooooooooooooo looking forward to the costume, especially the details of the gown materials, the satin, silk and yes the lines oh the lines.---uuuihhh Mon diue-- i am in heaven. (Oh Not to forget the Wit- i hope the writer is good. I am looking forward to an intellectual dialogue. )
All is good and well........but.......
However..... I have some grave objections. Yes something exetremely crucial i am afraid.

King Henry VIII is Historically known to be an impoising fat, extremely Heterosexual red headed none loquacious, dumb Man. In this series, King Henry VIII is played by a positively fruity but smart looking British actor, the dude who played elvis or who was in Woody Allens last flip flop movie; He played the leading role in Match point.( oh this is the only Woody Allen movie i didn't watch based on his feminine aora alone) I cannot believe King Henry VIII is played by a telling qaniis man with his officious raised collar fashion. The way he dresses is disgusting, and he talks sooooooo naag naag like.(and the irony is, according to the media reviews, the series supposedly has a lot of sex --so since i am very uncomfortable with sex in general, especially in period movies, gosh how awkward, i suppose this is a good thing. A qaniis having sex with hot women in corsetts is just something of a portrait rather than a cringing disgust i suppose. On this basis i am therefore willing to endure his presence on the screen)
Anyway i am willing to surpass this grand blander i suppose, i will watch with an open mind.
Anyway...Gacaliiyos.....Happy Friday!
