IT would be a MAJOR MISTAKE to think that the Ethiopian Army fears the Somalis. Do not underestimate their capabilities. They have heavy weapons, and they are not afraid to use them. They will flatten Wardiglei if they are sufficiently provoked.

Look at what you wrote here. You say there is no Ethiopian Amy, just a rag tag collection of rebel groups forced to join Ethiopia. So are you saying that a rag tag collection of unmotivated rebel groups are a match for Somali militias and are able to enter and remain in the Somali capital in spite of hawiye resistance? Or are you saying the TFG army is holding the ground?

I served in the Ogaden for a large part of one year. I have worked with the Ethiopian Army. I can assure you, they are a reasonably (by African standards) disciplined, well organized armed forces with a clear chain of command.

ofcourse their is a ethiopian army but i dont call it really a fair army most of these mens are etnitic tribes that are forced to join the army except of those mens do you have ethios like tigres that joined the army for their own interests ore to protect their uncle and you have amxaaro who joined the ehtiopian army only to go war with eritrea remember the war between eritrea and ethiopia not one tigre soldier died.now most of these mens left the army after the collapse of ethiopian poltics in 1996 and thats why you have those rebelgroups like the olf tlf the Ethiopian Democratic Union and the Ethiopian People Revolutionary Party.and each of those groups dont trust each other and thus gives that a bad influence of their army.see it like the sna after some of the tribes in the goverment couldnt trust siyaad barre did each of those mens created their own rebelgroup like the snm usc ssdf spm etc.
