What is left is our Air force.
The Tamil Tiger rebels have carried out their first Air attack with the new Air force.

I think we should learn few lessons from these guys. It isn't hard having an air force. We got few Hawks and MiGs that need some repairs, we should put these into operation.

Very impressive. I guess Rayaale isn't useless after all. He really built the military to perfection in all aspect. Given the nature of the region, it's needed.

Indeed, pple have been braging about rayaales lack of building but maalnitii ciidamada was so impressive and now this.
Remember when Ismail faqash was interior minister the navy was transfered to the police so they can get a UNDP help.
We arranging our resources so we can have efficient Army, police, Navy.
excellent work indeed.

Recognition or no recognition. Somaliland is here to stay, this means we need to take care of business, regardless
Every year, we spend more on our military than Majeertenia, Southern Somalia, Ogadenia, NFD and Djebouti combined. This is why we nicknamed "Shankaroonland" better than the the other five. Somaliland's military is in a better shape than many standard army of African nations.
Kundile. Qudhac
Darajadihii Riyale ma bixiyey oo maloo qaybiyey ciidamada?
I still think Riyale needs to go. He is a coward who got chased out of tuulada Laas Canood by few rag tag militia

Gurey
No real figures, here is what I know for a fact. Somaliland spends the bulk of its budget on the JSL military machine, something like 70%
Building a strong military should always be the first piority of Somaliland.

Re: Somaliland Cadets Graduate from Naval Academy
xidigta that the official story.
you do know that most of that money goes towards the Salaries of the soldeirs, not for maintaining equipment or for purchasing new ones.
and you should know that on paper 20,000+ Somaliland soldiers are on the government pay,
but that the figure is inflated so that Somaliland crime incorporated can pocket this money.
