Do you think before you write nonsense like this. Ethiopia may, eventually, withdraw its forces. I would expect that. But it will not "withdraw in defeat", rather it will simply get fed up with a situation that costs money and is going nowhere. That is not "withdrawing in defeat". The Hawiye will be so spent, they won't be attacking anyone. They won't even want to take on the Rahanweyne when this is over.

Need I remind you, that dragging the dead through the streets is Haram. Also, in order to win this fight militarily, even if you could (and you can not) you would have to expend every resource you had. Any victory would be phyric.

Obviously yes, since if genocide succeeds, by definition all Hawiye are dead. If they are not all dead, then the genocide would not have succeeded. But the Ethiopians are not trying to commit genocide, just good, ol fashioned intimidation.
