Okay, let us throw out a word for ya. Blackwater.
We're talking about one of the most powerful mercenary armies in the world. Or as they like to be called "private security contractors."
Blackwater is based in the U-S and they've got soldiers in war zones around the world.
So what do they do ?
Who do they answer to ?
And why does a military superpower like the U-S need soldiers for hire?
Well, we've got a guy who's followed Blackwater for years. He's just written a book about them - number 9 on the New York Times best seller list.
His name is Jeremy Scahill.
