The issue of looted properties and occupation of land
I'm gathering data about land and property ownership in Somalia pre-civil war. My first question is: who owned most private property in Xamar before 1991?

simple; hard working people that payed for the property/housing and later looted by tuugiin that are still using the famous line ''xaraan baa lugu dhisey in the firt place", so there you have it!.

H/G do not belong hamar so does darood, but darood own proprty in xamar and H/G didn't.
And that is why they are wearing new hat everyday. First it was USC, then maxkamadaha and now Hawiye. I know hawiye and they are not in this war. Its only H/G who knows if peace comes they will go back to the hell hole they came from.
Secondly the Ethiopians are playing tricks on these dumys. They are talking about truce when they are building up their fire power.

Re: The issue of looted properties and occupation of land
No one is denying the hardwork of many somalis who legally acquired their properties. It's just that accussation, wild accusation, like Xamar is looted city is flying around. There are people saying most private property in Xamar is looted. I'm trying to get to the bottom of these accusations. Based on my initial gatherings, admittedly from biased sources (old abgaal residents of xamar), most private property belonged to them and minorities.

This is the worse place you could ever gather a data. First of all most of these bafoons that are on this forum were born during late 1980's. Secondly, there is a clan rivalry here; Daroods don't like Hawiyes and Hawiyes don't like daroods. So do you think someone will honestly answer your question. I don't think so
