It took the Dhabacyos nearly 11 years to overthrow Siyaad in 1991.

They used armed struggle under the SSDF for a few and were karbashed into submission.

The Dhabacyos were most effective when they joined Afweyne's government and started to put Afweyne into war with the Issaq & Hawiye.

Before they joined, Afweyne had no issues with the Issaq or hawiye. But the Dhabacyo strategy of pitting Afweyne against the two largest, dominant tribes worked.

From my sources, words were exchanged. Afbiijo was questioned about Salad Jelle's comments and he promised to get a response from Ali Gheedi & apologized to Beesha.

He asked that Sacad not spread this war beyond Xamar & was told that no one knew where this war was going.

Afbiijo complained about all 3 Sacad MPs for being part of the opposition & tried to reassure that there was no war against HG.

There is nothing wrong with meeting with your enemy. My adeer met with Afweyne in 1989 along with some senior Sacad elders. The meeting was supposed to be private and to discuss why Afweyne had allowed the SNA to commit massacres in Mudug & if he supported it. At the meeting, there was no privacy as it was filled with Darood officials.

My late Awowe, an elderly wiseman, stood up and said, "From the fact you have these men here you have answered our question but know this, we will come and remove you & your assistants from power."

Why should Hawiye be burdened with defending Somalia when ever other Somali clan don't lift a finger. How come no one in Bay&Bakol, Hiiraan, Puntland, Somaliland, Jubooyinka is fighting Ethiopians? But the same people are calling for war in Hawiye degaans?

You're right there are no ethiopian troops in Somaliland but the same is true for most of Somalia. Their presence in a particular region of Somalia proper is hardly the point. That large concentrations of Ethiopian troops are in Somali soil should compel every patriotic Somali to drop whatever they're doing and pick arms against the Xabashi. That aint happening because no one buys into Somalia anymore everyone is out for themselves. You say Somaliland should their support to rer Xamar. Bull! Somaliland has done nothing of substance. If anything they've supported the same regime that visited death and destruction on Somalia, namely Melez. Riyaale was summoned to Addis short while ago and Somaliland completed a pact of cooperation (or something like that) with Ethiopia recently. If Somaliland was genuine in their outrage over Ethiopian invasion of SOmalia, how come they haven't condemned Xabashi transgression. How come they haven't recalled their representative in Addiss?

Like it or lump it Ethiopia controls Somalia either through proxies like Riyaale and Cadde Muuse regimes or through directly by military intervention.
