You know the last days of Bahiir Raage and Muuse Suude during the liberation of Muqdisho from Golihii Shaydaanka, I am sensing the same thing here. Remember most Abgaal pro-TFG memembers at the time supported Golaha Shaydaanka and having the so-called Iimaam, Muuse Suude, Salaad Dibi and their likes support the Ethiopian occupation of our capital is nothing. This is a naked lie. Abgaals like 99% of the rest of Somalis have choosen to accept, with much reservation, the TFG.

Ladies and gentlemen lets be honest with us and accept the truth that these fighters in Xamar are not fighting to defend Somalia or "liberate" Xamar. They're fighting because they fear being marginalised and disarmed by the TFG. They're not fighting for Somalia they're fighing for their self-preservation. But doing so at the expense of 99% of other Somalis who are sick and tired of war. Not even their clans are with them. THeir clans and the whole nation have choosen to oppose the TFG through peaceful means. Where is the war outside of small pockets of Xamar? Are these people even from Xamar? It's hard to fathom them being from Xamar given their callous disregard for it's inhabitants by fighting in it.

I know the TFG is treasonous, corrupt but what's the alternative? More killings? More clan warring and a new set of warlords to perpetuate it for another 17 years?

We all know what will happen Ethiopia leaves and the TFG collapses. Just another round of 1991. I can assure the people back home have NO interest in armed uprising. They're more preoccupied with meeting the day-to-day challenges of life.

As I said yesterday don't believe everything you read. Some of these media outlets are working for the enemy by sowing discord between Somalis. M/Dheer's troops are in Jowhar the rest are members of the TFG, so it's a lie to say they fought in Xamar as M/Dheere's troops.

War is not the answer. 17 years is enough, it's gotten us nothing. Use the TFG and Xabash invasion as an OPPORTUNITY to chart a new a path for Somalia.
