Also, they are not uniformed. This is a mistake as being non-uniformed is going to cause the Ethiopians to simply shoot whoever they see in the neighborhood. Lack of uniforms makes differentiation between combatant and non-combatant impossible, and thus causes a lot of civilian casualties. Also, by attacking the Ethiopians in the city, they cause a lot of property damage, should they care about that.

In principal I agree with this line of thought. The variable is, of course, the US. Will the US provide the necessary resources? Don't know.

I hope the US keeps its funding in Iraq once the congress cuts its aid in the comming days.
