Former Mossad Head Meir Amit said that he does not object to assassinating Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
<snip>
"I'm not against the world coming together and working to take out Ahmadinejad, even though such an action would make him a Shahid (martyr)," he told the Kfar Chabad weekly.
Amit's gloomy prediction for the future definitely includes a third world war and he believes it will be significantly different than the wars of yesteryear: "This time it will be between cultures and not between peoples. The Muslim world has reached vast parts of the globe."

The problem isn't Ahmadinejad, it's Iran. If Mossad or the CIA or the Girl Scouts assasinate him, it won't change anything. The only thing it will do is prove him right.
If you want to take him down a peg, making oil obsolete is the only way. Fund cold fusion research instead.

I beg to differ. It is not Iran or Ahmadinejad that is difficult in the world…. but those of us that consume Middle East oil daily.
Problem is neither but the entire region and that of those that depend on its resources.
There is an excellent book called Excess Heat: Why Cold Fusion Research Prevailed by Charles G. Beaudette
This book should be required reading to all drivers, consumers, and nature lovers, and for anyone interested in cold fusion, it is technically sound and well-written book.
Meanwhile, we depend on middle east for our energy resources to date after that historic speech by Pres. Jimmy Carter in 70’s…. yet the US Department of Energy has predicted that we'll have to wait another five decades, minimum, before fusion power becomes practical.
Indeed, the longer any of us ignore the dependency of oil in the Middle East, the longer we will have to continue sorting it out the politics of that region.
