Sex life non-existent? Call 999

A FRUSTRATED husband called 999 — to say his wife was refusing to have sex with him.
He complained to the operator that he was being denied his “matrimonial rights†and to ask for an ambulance crew to “examine†her.
But the operator refused and told the man, from Reading, Berks, his “emergency†was not one they could help with.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: “We get some inappropriate calls from people who think they need an ambulance and this comes pretty near the top of the list.â€
