It's a ridiculous notion.
First of all, even were Bush inclined, and he's not, in order to do what the author suggests he has about 6 months left to do it. That means rapid, violent, seizure of power. Not possible.
Secondly, in every step she mentions there are HUGE extrapolations from what was done in the early days of facism in Italy and Germany. Those societies were VERY RAPIDLY transformed. You don't slowly become fascist. It doesn't work that way.
Lastly, Bushes party, in case the author missed it, no longer controls the legislative branch of government.
This entire argument is specious in the extreme. The author is a nitwit.
