Terror in Mogadishu
Somali is suffering more now under occupation and surging violence than it did under the old brutal Somali worlords.
Terror attacks being waged by Ethiopian occupation brought untold miseries and hardships to the Somali people. The attacks added fuel into the fire of hardships and miseries being inflicted into the Somali people over the past few months.
The most brutal side of the terrorist threat to the Somali people was in the form of daily attacks and bomb blasts that strike streets, homes, markets and other crowded areas in various parts of Mogadishu, claiming precious lives of hundreds of people.
An average 200 somali civilians, including women and children, die on a daily basis over the past few months. The number of people, who have been killed by Ethiopians and TFG soldiers, reached 4,000. These continues attacks and destruction of properties have forced half million people to flee the Mogadushu.
There are five hundred thousand Somali refugees in the neighboring countries in addition to another one million who have been internally displaced in the country. The Ethiopian-led war and the Insurgnts' attacks have also left tens of thousands of women and children widows and orphans. These also aggravated the plight of Somali civilians who are living in fear and
miseries and many of them suffering from psychic disorders.
Nearly one third of the 10 million population of Somali are living below poverty line. The unemployment rate is on the increase on an alarming level currently hitting 82%. This was mainly because of the destruction of infrastructure facilities
and halting of commercial and economic activities due to the deteriorating situation and surging violence in the country. Even Somali businessmen are not ready to make investments in their homeland. It is estimated that 1,000 Somali wealthy men and women had left the country for neighboring countries in fear of Ethiopian attacks and instable environment.
One-fourth of Somali children lack nutrition food and about 100,000 boys and girls stopped going to school due to the volatile security situation and recurrent Ethiopian and TFG terror attacks in Mogadishu. Hundreds of professionals, ncluding doctors, and teachers have also become victims of the heinous terror crimes.
The Ethiopian attacks posed a catastrophe for the medical field also. Tens of doctors and non-medical staff, including 66 doctors from Mogadushu, have fled the country in fear of Ethiopian attacks and threats. The vicious cycle of terror violence has also left 300,000 of children orphans, and many of them resorted to begging for making a livelihood. Thousands of Somali women became widows and they are suffering to make both ends' meet.
Surging violence has also produced negative impact on the neighboring countries, especially in the field of commercial and trade activities. There has been a sharp decline in the volume of exports to Somali from these countries.
Some of 70 percent of Somali families are reeling under occupation and wave of TFG terror violence. More than four million Somali s are now living away from home, including about 1000,000 who fled the war-torn country since the Ethiopian-led war violence intensified just over few months ago. About 2 million refugees are living in Kenya. The displacement includes 700,000 people who are living in other part of Somalia, most of whom are sheltering with friends and relatives who have little space or food to share. Most of the refugees and the internally displaced live in acute poverty with little access to health and education. Kenya is the worst sufferer as they are struggling to cope with thousands of Somali refugees fleeing into these countries.
To put in a nutshell, Ethiopian terrorists are neither going to achieve their goal of taking control of Mogadishu nor winning the hearts of various sections of people after inflicting serious damage to the people and properties of the Somali nation, which was once the cradle of human civilization. The people of Somalia will resist not only the occupying power but the TFG terrorists as well.
Woow! As soon as I finished writing this article ,I heard that Mogadishu was liberated and the Ethiopians and TFG have won. Let's wait and see if the terrorists really won.

Re: Terror in Mogadishu
TFG is not the terrorists, Its the rebels who are only defending their stolen properties or are fighting for their Qabiil.
The TFG is for all Somalis and is not a Qabiil entity.
Don't worry my friend, at the end of this year the rebels are gone.

Re: Terror in Mogadishu
The Mbagathi terrrorists are doing what they have done for the past 16 years: kill, loot & plunder Somalia. Why is anyone surprised by the actions of these warlords? Yesterday's war criminal will always commit crimes.
The Mbagathi merceneries do not represent any qabiil in Somalia, they represent a league of warlords & goons. What clan want to be represented by the likes of Qeybdiid, Qanyare, Sudi, Geddi & Jeele?
These murderers of Daarood families need to be brought to trial for their war crimes.
Biijo needs to be brought to trial for his crimes against the religious clerics of Bari and the oppression of the people of Bari & Mudug.

^Mbagathi terrorists=Anarchy, no difference if they leave or stay.
Keep sucking those USC tits...I can only imagine what Qeybdiid must feel like, killing scores of dhabacs in Mudug, never being prosecuted for his crimes, then being named Somalia's police chief by an MJ and having a group of die-hard MJ supporters like you who cheer him on...

Re: Terror in Mogadishu
"The Terrorists"????? Everyone is calling everyone else a terrorist. Charging someone with murder in Mog is like trying to hand out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.
Re: Terror in Mogadishu
Saaxibayaal,if TFG is not terrorist, how come all of these innocent people, including kids, elderly, and women, (some of whom are pregnant with babies who have no future) are dying helplessly every day. It's clear and accurate that TFG is the true terrorist and they are led by an old dying man, who shows no mercy.
The so-called TFG persident arrived in Mogadishu as a militia leader, not as a head of state. Only militias kill their people, whereas governments protect them unconditionally.
With the help of Ethiopians, the TFG leaders are trying to wipe out all Mogadishu residents untill no one, except their short-lived followers, remains alive.
In fact, the Somali people, as long as one is living, won't forget the genocide and the destruction commited by those brutal leaders. they will, no matter when and how, be brought to justice, or probably be excuted in the front of the somali civilians, whose fathers, moms, brothers, sisters, and kids were butchered like animals right under their nose.

Re: Terror in Mogadishu
The so-called Prof Ghedi is claiming to have won the war of terror. What the hell he is talking about. He can't even leave his home, and he is trying to make a fool on us. Mr Ghedi, along with his boss, col Yusuf, are the emissary of Meles and they have no say at all.
Mr Meles, the great Satan of Africa, is using them as a tool to succeed his goal. Once he achieves his goal, he will throw both Mr Yusuf and Mr Ghedi to jail.
It is a common knowledge that Ethiopian regimes will never, and never want to see an independent and peacful nation of Somalia. Meles sent his troops to Somali as a cover-up of his internal problem, where his own people are dying helplessly at the hands of his Tigre militias.
So, let's wait and see what happens in the future. I have a vision that Ethiopians will leave soon with empty handed, and the TFG will go back to Baydhabo. May Allah make that vision Aamiintrue.

Re: Terror in Mogadishu
There is more nonsense above than I care to comment on. Anyone actually want to make some reasoned analysis, or are we just going to get more cheerleading?
Re: Terror in Mogadishu
Mad mac, I was told that you forgot about your faith and your upbringing. You continue saying "I'm somali, and yet you're always on the offensive. You just like to jump from the seat and start arguing.
sxb, are you really out of your mind, or are you just playing a game on us. Please be part of your Somali community, go back to your faith, ask Allah for forgiveness, and play your card right.
Thanks
