Somalia: Traders on illegal grounds given ultimatum

(SomaliNet) The authorities of Banadir province in somalia have on Wednesday given strong warning to the businesses on make shift kiosks along Mogadishu streets.

Mogadishu’s deputy mayor for social affairs Mohamed Osman Dhagahtur who held a press conference in the city urged the people who trade in the streets and in the government buildings to move out within 15 days and fully comply with the government orders.

Mr. Dhagahur said that those who do not abide by will face a stern action from the government

Earlier, the security forces demolished several kiosks along the KM4 and Zope areas of the city.

Many kiosk owners who were victimized by the untimely demolishing complained over the move saying that the government did not inform them and were not given prior warnings.
