Iraq: 3 killed in pair of bombings

(SomaliNet) At least three people died when insurgents exploded two near simultaneous bombs early on Monday in Baghdad near the office of the police crime investigation unit, security officials said.

Another 18 people, including a policeman, were wounded in the twin blasts, they said.

The explosions took place in the central Karrada district of the Iraqi capital. - AFP
