Iraqi: Law maker killed in bomb attack

(SomaliNet) A Member of Parliamnet (MP) has been killed in the Iraqi capital Baghdad in a bomb attack.

At least one passer-by was also killed. The MP, Saleh al-Ugaili was a member of the Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr\'s parliamentary party. The bomb was hidden on a motorbike parked on the roadside and exploded when the MP drove past.

The radical Shiite leader has 30 MPs in parliament, but does not hold a seat himself. Last year, he ordered his Mahdi army to cease fighting which has greatly improved the security situation in Iraq.-RNW
