Pakistan: Roadside bomb kills 11 in Pakistan

(SomaliNet) A roadside bomb in the Upper Dir district of Pakistan\'s North-West Frontier Province killed at least 11 people.

The bomb exploded as a prison bus and a school bus were passing. Three prisoners, four policemen and four schoolchildren were killed.

According to reports, shortly before the explosion, a suicide attack on police headquarters in the capital Islamabad left at least 13 people injured.

Both bombings occurred just two weeks after the suicide attack on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad that killed 50 people and injured more than 260.-RNW
