There is your problem. You have created Somali ghettos. You expect Somalis to advance when they are living amongst themselves? You have created a neighborhood of Qat and Qabiil. You have to mix them with the general public.

For the Somalis with Bachelor degrees without jobs, go out West. Why are you limiting yourself to one city? You have all sorts of people from different parts of the country running there for jobs. Most people who get their degrees don't end up working in the fields they studied so that is not a Somali community problem. You also need some work experience through co-op before you graduate. I suspect they didn't do this.

Another thing: 50% of Somali university graduates in Toronto are all Ryerson alumni who with degrees in Public Health. There is your problem. You have limited yourselves for limited municipal jobs. The city can only hire so many.

Why did they let that terrorist on the show? Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi was a Al Shabab recruiter who signed boys up at the mosques. He also fought with Al Shabab only to run back to Canada like a coward. He's a terrorist. Why has he not been arrested? He is the problem, not the solution to the Somali community. Why is he speaking about Somali plight in the city and the country he hated? He was the one that contributed to it.

I have no sympathies for Somalis. The Tamil community in Toronto is similar to Somalis. Similar population, came to Canada during the late 1980s and early 1990s, lived in the same crappy neighborhoods. Their parents fled civil war and were refugees. Why is it that the Tamils are so successful? They have doctors and lawyers in their communities and they are taking over the universities and actually studying meaningful subjects. They moved out of the ghettos and now into the suburbs. They have jobs. They have freaking MP's in both the federal and provincial parliaments. Don't tell me racism, those Tamils are darker than Somalis. They were at the same position as Somalis. We came to Canada at the same time with only the clothes on our backs. I am comparing us to the Tamils and not the Chinese or the Indians. We were the exact same 20 years ago.

The Somali problem was created by themselves. You failed to raise your kids. You failed to put an emphasis on education. You never took them to the library at a young age like the other ethnic parents did. And they wonder why Somalis are dying on the streets. The parents don't work so why should the children? Somalis are just plain lazy too. They allow their kids to take 3 days off on Eid instead of going to school. Since Eid will also fall on the weekend, they are going to take Monday and Tuesday off as well. Life is just a joke to them. 1 day is enough. Somali culture has contributed to Somali plight in Canada. Not whitey. Not racism. Not Islamophobia. Not Christianity. Not nothing.

That animal Ahmed Hussen is another issue in the community. Always blaming the government for the problems of Somalis. He's an opportunist, that idiot who is head of the Canadian Somali Congress. Whenever there is a Somali death, he flies to the location of the deceased, brings a bunch of journalists and cameras and openly condemns the government for failing Somalis. He literally knocked me down once as he was running to the cameras when other Somalis were addressing the media. He's a prick and power hungry, a media whore and thinks he knows what is best for the community. He is also a big huge qabiilist, only assisting Somalis of his clan and region whenever they require legal assistance or any other sort of help. It shouldnt be called the Canadian Somali Congress. his clan name should be on the organization.

He has done nothing for the community and he awards himself a 3,000 sq ft newly built home in Ottawa and is barely there. You are not supposed to hustle and take advantage of the Somali community.
