Re: A picture of El Maan Port
Any ways, no one doubts the fact that El Mann is a natural port. Going by your irrational thinking, then Berbara port should be the most profitable since it has the best facilities in all of Somalia, but we all know that is not the case. Also, the Security Council says, El Man EASILY SURPASSES the rest of the Somali ports. which means that they are very confident that it generates the most revenue. So, give me some link other than those from the Puntland government, and we can call it a start to clearing your mind of those dirty thoughts it harbors. 8)

I asked you El Maan not Mogadisho. The report is a general survey of Mogadisho's business. It does not mention El Maan in the entire document.

Re: A picture of El Maan Port
Two things are shipped from Puntland port
1.Sex slaves: Afbiij's black market sells thousands of Dhulbahante and Mj women to the Middle East and Asia every year --this ppl jump from the boat after they are told they gonna be sex slaves -and rather drown in the sea.
2. Animals taken by force from poor rural Warsangeli and Baciidyahans and sold to the Middle East and all the money goes to Cade Muuse.
and the little trees left in that desert is burned down and sold to the Middle East --its disaster to the Environment.
nothing sophisticated happens there --its just black market where ppl, animals, and chorcoal are smuggle all to the Arabs.

Re: A picture of El Maan Port
U think what I'm saying is lying --check this report from Wikipedia --
--Maakhir (Warsangeli state) banned charcoal production due to the desertification it causes to the fragile Somali environment. Puntland has ignored the ban and sent several expeditions into Maakhir, with Puntland militia protecting the charcoal traders.. Clashes between Puntland militias escorting charcoal traders and Maakhir militias attempting to stop charcoal production have occurred numerous times since the ban, in Mijayahan[5], Wa'iye and Sarmanyo.[6]
Puntland has publicly stated it does not recognize Maakhir, and still considers Sanaag and western Bari as their territory.[7] The demand for charcoal from Arab gulf states, sometimes referred to as the "Black Gem" due to its profitability, has fueled the clashes.
