Actually Djbouti was always Pro Somali and wanted unification from what I've heard from a lot of elders who were diplomats in Djbouti in the '70s, '80s and the always said that Djbouti really wanted unification with Somalia but the French pressured the UN to make independence from Somalia a stipulation for Djbouti to gain independence and they relented. Either way it was a good move for them as they are not part of zoomalia today. Also it isn't smart to blame Djbouti a sovereign nation for allowing people to use their land to attack Somalia as Eithiopia uses Somalis in Somalia against each other and their presense is everywhere.

You are right we were pro unification but Ethiopia didnt want that and Somalia and Ethiopia were going to go over a war and that would have taken place in our country and so in order to spare ourselves a war we went a different way and I SURE AM GLAD WE DID THAT.

I wish Somaliland thought like Djibouti and never joined Zoomalia.
