Shaanshi are Portuguese descent. They are the true portuguese descent people of Somalia. Reer Xamar, Tunni, and these are people are the Swahili of Somalia. The Swahili people extend from Mozambique to Muqdisho and the reer Xamar, Tunni, etc are the Swahili of Somalia. They have nothing to do with Shaanshi.

The Mirifle of Raxanweyn are lost nomadic Somalis. Many Somali clans be they Dir, Darood, Isaaq, etc migrated and when they got lost banded together and became what is today the Hadamo, the Laysaan, who comprise the Mirifle.
