True it is not fair that Somali men take All the blame in divorce. It is such a normal thing. I was afraid to get married since I heard all the horror stories of my Mom and Aunts. Yet, I learned in divorce rarely is anyone innocent. Yet, Somali men get all the blame.

Growing up my Mom swore it was all my Dad's fault. She gave me a case against him. I took her side as her loving daughter. When I grew up I got to know my Mom as an adult, and I shockingly learned that my beautiful Mom is so not perfect either. So, I now blame the divorce on both of them. They both were too young and both made mistakes.

Although, on the bright side I learned from them to not get married to someone you barely know even if you are the same qabil, don't let the girls in your families ruin your marriage, and get a good career just in case **** doesn't work out.

Sorry we live in a girl's world where ITS ALWAYS THE MAN'S FAULT! Just take it like a Man. My Daddy never talked bad about my Mom, he just said they had differences.
