It would be good if the buses made practical sense but sadly the truth is they are not. I don’t think Qatar did her research probably and asked what use can these buses be? I think they are trying to help but misses the mark.

Mogadishu does not have the roads for these kind of buses nor does Mogadishu municipalities run any public transport. All transportations are done by private buses, which are mini-buses.

These ones will not last nor are most roads big enough for them.

The cranes they donated are useful but these buses will be smuggled to Kenya and sold.
