I used to tutor two qaldaan kids from the country side of burco and their cousin who was raised in Mogdishu used to translate for me all the time........it was tough........just like buying something from the indian cashiers at 7 Eleven.

DUDE I DONT KNOW WHAT A REER XAMAR ACCENT IS BUT I KNOW ALMOST ALL SOMALIZ EAST OF BURCO TO KISMAAYO SOUND THE SAME EVEN QALDAANS HAVE DIFFERENT ACCENT THE ISAAQS HAVE A DIFFERENT ACCENT THAN US AND DJBOUTIANS AM JUST SAYING WE DONT CALL U QALDAAN SO WHY U SAYING WE SPEAK THE WRONG WAY.

Strange thing is that most of my isaaqs friends are from Mogdishu and don't have the waqooyi accent while the ones with waqooyi accent are the warsengeli.......very thick waqooyi accent too.

You are confusing the central Somalia accent for the Waqooyi accent. No one broadcasts anything with that 'dhi' 'dha' accent......except in Hargeisa, Burco, Berbera triangle.
