Major General of Ethiopia is Samora, Tigray muslim.
He is a full General not Major General and the Chief of Staff of the entire Ethiopian National Defence Forces, but yeah a Muslim from Tigray.
The Ethiopian Minister of Defence is also a Muslim, Siraj Fergessa a Silte Ethiopian (they are related to the Gurage).

Samora Yunis is the most useless bakhti, he has aids now
He would help his oppressed tigray muslims who can't even get a decent muslim burial in places like Axum.
The army is the only thing keeping the TPLF afloat From Samora down to the divisions and departments, you will always have a tigray shaking things.

I don't know, Samora and Tadesse look like they know what they are doing. Under their leadership, Ethiopia today is occupying Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan and South Sudan. They managed to keep Ethiopia together and modernize their military.

A lot of southerners are uneducted to begin with. All those terror groups thrive in places where the masses are ignorant and hapless. Those kind of favorable conditions have enabled movements like al shabab to thrive in south somalia.
