I remember when I first arrived in ethiopia, I had some white t's I wanted to wash, I seen how the girls washed with the bin so I was like ok I can do this, and I was way to shy to ask them to clean it. I grab my shirts out the room and I'm bout to go out when two of my older cousins jump up, shocked like wtf, and ask me what do you think your doing, I was like trying to wash this, he goes NOOOO and is like don't ever do that, he goes straight up that is womens work. He's like just put it in the corner of the house outside and the girls will get to it loool. Next thing I know it's on my bed folded and pressed.

And the girls used to be like hes one of those guys that will get abused by his wife lool. I came back straight up with their mentality and used to get on my sisters case for doing the same shit I was used too. lol

I know what You're talking about. Man maybe this is a OGadeen thing, cuz My cousins who were in the house doing this were OG's. Its like as soon as You walk out the door, they all scramble to Where You sleep, make Your bed, wash Your clothes, etc. Everyday I was wearing a freshly washed pair of draws, Ilahay khayr ha siiyo, waan u duceeyey Walle, lol I felt like I was in heavan Man. Laakin on a serious tip though, if a Wife does do that kinda stuff for Her Hubby, ofcourse the Man will appreciate it, try to do everything He can for Her, and never leave Her..A Raaliyo

What about before getting married? A man's gotta look after himself at some point or are you cats planning on being taken care of your mothers, then by your wives? How does that work and what sort of a man does that make you? There's no shame in cleaning after yourself and learning all the necessary skills to take care of yourself. What if your wife gets ill or delivers? Becomes disabled or even dies, leaving you with kids?

I'm appalled by the living conditions of most niggas I know, living in filthy squalors. That's no way to live.

Why on earth QORAXEY goes to shops all the way to Africa and pick an elitarate man who will brush his teeth in the street + in public HAMAANSI and XAAKO TUFIS, when she can get here educated, ambitious and energetic men like emperior?

FAH is the man. You should all learn from him, as he has learnt from the beloved prophet

PO you need to be yourself dude, don't let these 'old skool' know it alls make you think that being a 'real man' is expecting a wife to be a shaqaalo with benefits, that's twisted, insecure and misogynistic. Don't be a poser either, just learn to take care of yourself, unless of course you want your wife to be like your mother, that's a different issue which a man should discuss with a therapist.

I was told that OGs are like that. A bit backward and treat women like their inferiors; train them and expect them to be shaqaalo.

I don't like to stereotype lakin from my observations, this seems to be accurate :|
