I assume everybody here get's anonymous calls every now and then, to make a long story short...this girl called me up for few days and everything was going good until few nights ago, I was running to the masjid and told her "call be back--I'm running late to salaat".

she pauses and goes "you pray? "

I said yes

and she never called back.

no sxb....I'm not even sure I know her. It was an anonymous call and I was going along with the flow. I'm not trying to appear like a wadaad or what-ever but I guess some xaliimos find "some one who is religious" turn-off or uncool.

You guys probably think I am kidding, but Jinns do exist and once in a while, humans & Jinn cross paths.

It happened to Umar Bin Khattab, Abu Hureyra, etc. It can happen!

On this issue though, she probably figured you were some Akhwan dude and didn't want to be bored with the usual "Ukhti, nafta baa ku jecel" speeches.

koronto.......I dont know man, I'm a bit skeptical to jin and human crossing path, I'm not saying it never happened but what I am saying is go to somalia, everything is dismissed as "jin", some one could get sick, crazy etc and even doctors would say "qofkaan jin baa ku jiro".

I hear you! People say those things, because they are ignorant. But you should never doubt that Jinns exist, there is a whole verse in the Qur'an about a group of Jinn who came to the Prophet (saw) and became Muslims.

These encounters are not common, but they happen! And when they do, they can have bad consequences. The Jinn are more than us in number and technologically more advanced according to ahadeeth. They have Muslims and non-Muslims. The non-Muslims are greater in number and very harmful.

Our weapon against them is the Holly Qur'an, their power is nothing against us, if we don't follow them.

I heard all sorts of stories about them growing up, I doubt it was true though!

K, I agree sxb....I have seen mentally sick people being tied (toes and pinkies) and getting the karbaash of their lifes so the "jin" could exit safely.
