Why the hell are we in the arab league?

the only real arab countries in the arab league are iraq, kuwait, bahrain, qatar, uae, oman, saudi arabia and yemen


all others are wannabe arabs (north africa, lebanese, the african countries)

The idea Abdul Nasit created the Arab league is to create a common intrest between those countries that share common goals against other threats scuh Israel, Ethiopia. Ethiopia is as dangerious as to Egypt and Sudan as Israel to Arabs. the water they live by, the Nile, comes from Ethiopia. If ethiopia got stronger with other enemies around they would be doomed.

The idea was political, security and economical rather than genetical of who is a real Arab and who is not.

A few months ago, Saudi Arabia gave Somalia's legitimate government $160 millions. Kuwait and other Arab countries also provided tens/hundreds $millions to the TFG. Don't those $millions count as help/aid?

Somalia is still part of the African Union, no point in joining another Afro-centric league like "Cushitic Union" or "East African Union."

That being said, I still don't know how Arabs from Iraq to Yemen to Morocco could share common goals...

Have you heard I do help to protect them selves who I consider closer to me than their enemy? It's political and intrests. Some wealth Arabs give money to other poor Arabs to buy their loyality to them. Farankly, I do feel close the one I share the langugea and culture and maybe common historical events than the one we do not have anything to share with.

You have some great points. People use each other to get some where, it's your duty to know what you loose and what you gain from joining some one else's league or organazations. No one would look after your intrests.
