Yes. And after saying no to last summer's party and the Christmas one, I'm actually going to this summers party on the 20th. My plan is to stick around for a bit, eat and sneak my ass out of there. Last time i went to one these i had to drive two wasted dudes home and i'm not doing that again.

lol @ Gatspy & Zulaika,
Y'all are not team players.
I love office parties. But I love unofficial gatherings especially socials after work. U get to know your coworkers very well & I used to club with some from my previous job & are good friends.

Im usually part of the group that organize these events
Holloween ones are the best
However I must note that we usually stick with finger food and wine. Beer and Hard liquor are for frat parties.

Razzberry,
U must be a petite woman.
I once was traveling overseas in Southern Africa and got into some trouble with law enforcement but was able to resolve the issue with:

I gave two bottles of this that I had purchased in Duty Free to the head officer & it helped get my goods out of customs
My old man always said, "Trust Johnnie Walker to get you out of trouble."

Re: office parties
i know what u mean..just show face be friendly, stick around an hour or so and leave before i see them hammered...i can't stand to see drunk people. i loose all respect i have for them, thus making working with them that much complex.Gatspy wrote:Yes. Abdi,

Razzberry,
Notice the progression of ideas in his songs:
Song # 1: "I am in love with a Stripper"
Song # 2: "Buy You a Drink"
Song # 3: "Bar Tender"
Whats next ???
Song #4: "Beefing with the Bouncer"
