Shirib, FAH123 and other Al-Shabab Supporters?

Post by American-Suufi »

Two questions.

Al-Shabab refused to participate in Sheikh Sharif's peace process. They are spoilers who kill aid workers and intellectuals who they see as threats. They declared all the UN agencies who are feeding and treating hungry, sick and injured Somali people as a threat to their existence. Who has more to gain from insecurity?

Since the United States is smoking out their leaders, if Al-Shabab asks you to fight against the United States in American soil, will you guys have the balls to bomb, fight or suicide bomb Americans, or you too scared and wish Al-Shabab only kill Somalis?

Be men answer the questions and don't delete the topic.

I love America.

I just hate the government's policies

and in terms of al shabaab and the peace deal...any somali knows that the al shabaab split from the ARS early last year...so naturally the ARS has no troops on the ground and al shabaab operates as a seperate entity with no regard to what sheikh sharif or anyone does.

I am pro-resistance and anti-Ethiopian interests.

but we can worry about that later, right now its all about getting ethiopia out of somali territory :somalia:

You love America and Al-Shabab? You are confused.
No decent Somali likes Ethiopian presence, do you think Al-Shabab will be capable to beat the Ethiopians and the rest of the world and your beloved America want to see Al-Shabab win?

Read my post, I said I didn't like the government policies! Musika you dont have comprehension skills

Look I been critical of al shabaab, I dont think they are a political group but a mere armed wing which is very powerful in Somalia right now and probably the most powerful faction on the ground and you have a mix of all sort of somalis fighting the ethiopians

we need to get rid of the warlords of xamar and the same idiots holding us back for 18 years

How?

By bringing back the Galdauud Mafia in power to sell river water to the local Muslims whom they forcefully rule, or participate in the electoral process and change the current TFG leadership peacefully?

Shieck Sharif

Al shabab radicals

They are teenagers being led by radicals. They do more harm than good, and anyone who supports them is clearly not aware of the situation in somalia.

FAH123 Dont be a flipflopper, I can support a team, political organization and at the sametime critize some of their policies. The question is can Al-shabaab win this war? Al-Shabab doesn't believe in democracy but power only through A.K47.
Who will you support the United States against Al-Shabab if American forces were deployed in Somalia and join the fray?

Fah1223, Alshabaab is not a powerful entity but a loose collection of radicalized youth. They only have the power to disrupt peace: throw a hand grenade here and there, assassinate government officials and aid workers, engage in minor skirmishes with government troops in surprise attacks. Yet, these sporadic shocks designed to spoil peace and terrorize the public is construed as a power.

Alshabaab doesn't have the power to capture and hold a town, can't spread their force to other areas of the anarchic south, let alone the peaceful and gigantic North, starting from central Mudug. They can't provide for the people it's calling to protect. For instance, the small Ugandan troops have at many times provided food and medicine to the displaced, protected and managed the Ports and made sure that day to day operations are run smoothly.
