Yeah , i saw a documentry about that on bbc2 last year. The northeren part of nigeria is mostly Islamic, so if they were to adopt it, it wil probably only be there anyway....the southeren side is pretty dead set against it...

I am suspicious of this Yar'Adua guy. He is a Muslim but i think he is not in favour of Sharia in the northern states. Obasanjo didn't give Nigerian Muslims a lot of attention since his govt was a dictatorship and pretty much cared too much about the Niger delta.
