Give Blood?

Post by xAthenax »

I had a day off today, so went out with my friend to catch up, and have fun! Anyway we’re walking down town and this sign catches our eyes it says ‘donate blood , save a life’ we dare each other. Our bold idea lead us though the front door and into the building, we decided to donate at the time. everyone around was very helpful and smiles. Quick scan through the waiting room, and its occupied by white people,( mainly elderly ) no minorities at all. Anyway, after an interview and whatnot, they pock us with needles and its done. Then we’re treated with hot chocolate and biscuits. Although it was not pain free and I felt a bit wobbly afterward. It made me feel good, knowing that this might save another human’s life.

So have you ever donated blood or would you?

Besides what is the Islamic view on this, I heard clashing views on this topic?

What clashing views? We're not Jehovah witnesses...

How pathetic, I wonder how scared of needles you'd be if you were dying and needed a life saving blood transfusion. Lol and do you really think that you alone have enough blood to make a signifcant impact on that important person's life?

Its such a simple way to make a difference!

yes finally they allowed me to donate though it took half an hour to fill that 500ml plastic back.
they got bored and the filipini nurse said we need to stop it.

fist time in the summer they refused me to donate because my iron level was below allowed to donate.

i felt really good and i recieved: shukran letter
