I have met lots of fellas, that agitate and vow to marry from their own tribe. in order words they don't see themselves with other tribe in the future beside their own.

So is there anything wrong with that?

For me I will marry a woman from whatever qabil. The children will take my name, she will only be their mother and raise them.

However, I will think twice before letting my daughters, sisters and female members of my family marry someone from a different tribe.

I agree with marcassmith-- for men, its not important. They have the luxury to marry even a masaii, and their children will automatically carry the qabil DNA. I think the only qabil where women outnumber men are from east Sanaag, Somaliland. The Somaliland Govt. is currently implementing a demographic transition policy in these areas. This is a positive steps towards complete territorial control over east Sanaag.
