For the first time in 20yrs living in west I found out that someone actually knows somaliland
exists , I was at work and he said you must be somali and goes to say how come
Somalia is lawless country ? I couldn't explain problem with Somalia and I urged
Him it was regional problem. He laughed back and said you kidding somaliland
Is better shape and modern. I never thought white people had the brain to find out
Where Somalia is located , I am referring to folks that live in my city.

As much I dislike idea of having country split into pieces I think somaliland
is on the right track maybe for another 20yrs they will be on the world map

has not even recognized sland so to be taught in schools
is something different, are you sure she didn't say somali land

No Somaliland. It was on African democracies. She knows the difference. I never bothered telling her i was from somaliland. funny conversation really.

I have yet to foundout. somaliland has lot to show
but a doubt it will be going far to be known by many
there are ppl that don't want to see Somalia in peace
whether its north or south

It remembers me at Uni when I was trying to explain to a girl that the pirates are not criminals and they started being pirates for a reason. She was adamant that they only became criminals because they are angry at the failed government.

She didn't know somaliland and I had a feeling she thought somalis were arab lol.
