Star Wars Episode VII

....is being made by Disney after it acquired Lucasfilms, and is to be the first movie in a new trilogy.

I suppose I'm excited at the prospect of new movies, but I don't know

I was sort of hoping the new films would be set in the old republic era, but going for a few decades after Return of the Jedi is going to be weird as hell.

I was never a star wars fan, and never liked 456 that much nor do I believe i watched them thru, my white friends were obssessed with them and would build that shit out of lego before lego even made star wars sets. I watched the first one, didn't like it much, liked the second for it's action, and third one was a major dissapointment.

I only recently watched the original trilogy and liked it, but not to the level those geeks loved in 30 years ago.
I have only watched episode I of the prequel trilogy and it's alright I don't know why it get's rubbished by critics.

I don't like Star Wars. It sucks. It abandons such a beautiful setting for bs politics and family drama. Of course, this is never something I'd say publicly lol. It's become culturally expected to like Star Wars, but only Star Wars. Thankfully Star Trek is finally getting to the same point
