She went on to college to a far away city. My girl is Somali btw. She goes in Craiglist to find a roommate. She decided toove in with an older lady and her step daughter her age.

Fast forward 2 years later, which was yesterday. While on a rush she set her purse in the garage only to forget it. When she reached her destination she realized she left her back at the garage. She runs back to c the older lady leaving the house in a rush and she was the only person in the house. When she called her she wouldn't pick up but when she finally did she said " I didn't see your purse". In that purse she had 300 dollars and credit cards. The older lady had a dude friend who was at the front of the house. So naturally my girl asked to ask her man friend to ask if he seen it but the lady replied by saying " he didn't seen it and I won't ask him".


Maxaa talaa?.... I told her to be more forceful and say " you were the only one who could've seen it bc uour car was parked there too". However the lady is the landlord and my girl is afraid she will be kicked out and she only has 3 weeks before she moves out for good.. What solutions do u have for this Somali sister.. I have been chastising her for moving in with madooow s to begin with

I'm also thinking the same...and the fact that she been depressed since yesterday ..she keeps saying that "I lost trust in humanity, I don't look the people the same, I been crying all nite, I picked this older lady bc I knew young roommates couldn't b trusted".. Your girl is really you haye. First thing first she should report the missing credit cards Then how far she wants to go with this lady depends on how much she values the $300. Personally if I am moving out in few weeks I would report the missing money and everything to the police and if nothing comes out of it I would set up a plan where I steal something important(of equal value to the missing money) from that lady right before I move out.

She said that ever since the stuff was stolen she has been very guarded of her own purse..her own mom told her to move out and run with the rent.. Legally she can't b held prosecuted for it bc it's under the table.. But this chick don't wanna do it.. It's pissing me off walahi

Don't retaliate and steal something. This can land her in Jail and remember this girl of yours is Somali...She won't get justice. Tell her to make sure to leave that place if she can even before her time. Tell her also, to report what happened to the police. She should not accuse or anything to these people at all. She should make sure to let other people know her situation so at least it will deter her landlord to do more harm to her..and she should let her landlord know that other people know about this incident.
