youth in the uk

Post by AbtiiDoon »

So I seen my cousin today who is 19. Last time saw him he was 16. So he was telling me he was looking for work and how he's been signing on for 6mnths and sending out 15-20 job apps a week with no reply. I noticed he don't wanna go down the trap route. He could easily if he wanted to. Gave him a lil something uu isaga bashaalo for abit. He don't use no drugs at all or anything.

If kids from the hood that wanna work and not be no criminal don't get given a chance should we be surprised when they do eventually go down that route?

No jobs whatsoever in this country. Fuck this country forcing people to look for other ways to make money.

He should be in College/Uni at that age. Quitting school without a higher education degree won't get you nowhere in this country unless your some programming genius or smart entrepreneur.

He got excluded in yr11 and didn't even take his gcses as far as I remember.

He's got no future in this country tbh. No one is gonna employ a 19 year old somali with no qualifications and experience

Your cousin has no one to blame but himself... There's plenty of jobs out there he just has zero qualifications from the sound of it..
He should go back to college and gain some gcses!

That's the harsh reality. I've seen kids drop out at 16 thinking they're badass because they don't have to study like the rest of us and can make a quick buck. Little do they know they will be either stuck with minimum wage xamaali jobs for decades to come or signing on alongside 50 year old ajnabis who don't speak a word of english.

Advice him to learn a trade if he doesn't want to go the academic route. Plumbers and electricians earn a lot of money ...plumbers for example in places like London can earn as much as 150,000£.
