That's what the International Community want. A strong federal government. Even Somaliland is included in this believe or it not. If the International Community didn't want Somaliland to be included in Somalia's federal government then the whole idea of selecting representatives that will represent Somaliland in the election process would have been put to an end and the IC would've told Farmaajo's administration to not include Somaliland or anything relating to Somaliland in the election process.

I don't agree WB presidents from both Somaliland and Somalia have only ever met one another in foreign third party countries. Believe me Somalia has no other option but to accept the independence of Somaliland. Neither Ethiopia nor Sudan were failed states yet were forced to accept the independence of Eritrea and South Sudan respectively. Once Somalia is fully recovered and has a fully functioning central government that's when SL will finally be recognized. No lifting of the arms embargo until SL is recognized

If you examine South Sudan and Eritrea's case for independence, it is quite different from Somaliland's case for independence. Somalis in Ethiopia have a better chance of seceding from Ethiopia on the bases of ethnicity. But, what's Somaliland's case for seceding from Somalia? I just don't understand. Somalia's Kacaan government had war with only one of the clans of Somaliland. The rest of the Somaliland clans (Dhulmahante, Warsangeli, Samaroon and Ciise) were essentially pro-Kacaan government.
