WHAT IS OUR ROLE AFTER '7/7'

i was just wondering about all the recent "terrorist attacks" in london, and the role the media has played for example the constant pressure for all the muslims to condemn these attacks like we commited them personally.

besides where is their condemning of the daily slaying of muslim civillians around the world such as in palestine and iraq to name just a few and thats why i have refused to condemn these attacks!

Another issue is that we cant even practice our religion without the fear of being labelled a fundamentalist. but isnt a fundamentalist a good thing? as u practice the fundametals of your religion.

i personally reckon this is all a conspricy, call me crazy but what happend to the G8 summit, yep wiped off the agenda cos Blair couldnt deliver and this is all a plan to conform us all into their secular ideolgy, which our faith rejects.

finally this has even caused divisions between us muslims, as there are extermists and normal muslims, and the media has encouraged us to make a choice between the two.

salaam nobleman...i think our main role now is to show the people that islam is not what they think. islam is a religion of peace and love. but firstly we need to learn our own religion coz we cant tell people about that which we dont know.

i know we are being pressureized to condemn these attacks as if we did it but to be fair those actions were barbaric and have nothing to do with us or islam we gotta get that across. I know our brothers/sisters are being killed daily in iraq, palestine etcc but remember what allah told us in surah 5

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Nobleman, I thought I was the only person who questioned these events walaal. Everybody, including Muslims, seem to be condemning the actions of these ‘cowardly Muslim terrorists’ but in order for me to condemn or commend these actions I have to know WHO is committing them! At the moment, as far as I am concerned, we (in particular the British Muslims) are being told to either condemn or commend something that we have so little knowledge of. Yes, we know there have been explosions in London and unfortunately innocent people died, which was obviously intended by the ‘bombers’, BUT we have no idea who was behind it. Yes, we are told its Muslim men, BUT what evidence have we seen. All we have seen is CCTV footage of Muslim men on public transport! What stupidity is this? The last Muslim man seen on the bus or train that allegedly nearly exploded is dubbed as THE terrorist ? This is a game of duck, duck goose and all Muslim men are being picked.

But anyhow, Nabi Mohammed (s.a.w.s) said this day will come, when Islam is ridiculed even though the amounts of Muslims in the world are countless.

Insha’Allah justice will be served and lets all pray for all the Muslim brothers being captivated all around the world and all the innocent brothers and sisters being slaughtered.
