Islam permitted the four wives for a justifiable reason which does not apply any longer, I'm certain it's not the reason this guy married the two women at once. Also I doubt he heeded the conditions of having multiple wives.

Wrong. Having up to four wives at once is permissable for Muslim men until the Day of Judgement, and there are a few reasons why they are allowed to do so. As long as he gives them both their rights, it is nobodies business to judge whether it is haram or not, since Allah has permitted polygyny in Holy Quran. Anyone who opposes polygyny has opposed Allah.

Hambalyo, you did not understand what I said. The reason for allowing multiple wives was for the protection and welfare of the widows and the orphans of the wars. During those times, women without the protection of family or husbands were outcasts from the community. That's one thing, the other thing was if a man had a sterile wife and wanted to have children, he had the right to marry another woman provided he gave the choice to stay or divorce to the wife.

I also think the four wives came about as to not piss off men during those times since before Islam many of them had zillion wives/kept women.

Because Allah says about the non-believers on the day of judgement when they see reality "if we had any understanding if we had any intelligence we would not have been in hell-fire. If our minds got us here , then we are IGNORANT , we know NOTHING , we have no INTELLIGENCE or a mind whatso-ever. If our minds are going to end up in hell fire with us ,What is the use for our minds"?

Allah gave us eyes ,ears and a mind why? so we can be greatful slaves.
Our eyes and ears are the most improtant sources for gathering information and our mind is there to process the information. And if you can use those three things together DD then it will lead you to imaan.

Ok, I take that as a rant. Glad you got it off ur chest. But now lets be little realistic and sober, shall we?

I only corrected your scientific error. The sun WILL NEVER rise from the West. Any talk that it will or claims based on gee-whiz science ought to be corrected. WHich is what I did.

The 'apparent' rise of the Sun from the, which as occured billions of times already, is due to ILLUSION of Retrograde Motion. I'll be more than happy to explain it to you... dispelling superstitious beliefs or unscientific ideas is one of my fav hobbies.

whad a funny wedding. is it common? i sent dis link to all my friends and told dem as a somali dude, i expect 2 marry 2 girlz @ da sametime. dat guy should never be allowed 2 breed, not only him bud 99% of somalis till dey can feed and look after der own kids widout relying on handouts from oders.
