Shirib,

Why are Mirifle more poitically active than Digil?

What do You think about L Shabelle joining Bay/Bakool in a admin?

Because Mirifle is moe numerous. You have Laysan, Elaay and bunch of other sub-clans in there. On Top of that Digil tend to concentrate around Afgooye, Walawayn and up to Baydhabo, so they kind get crowded by Hawiye

Mirifle are a lot larger than Digil. I'd be in favor of it.

Ever the diplomat  But some will be gorging and getting gluttonous while others will be starvin marvins.
  you understood him. he know who he is.

waryaa you need to be politician. cause you have all qualities plus integrity.
hyper tnx bro. There two things I dnt know anything about: politics and religion. My approach to Somali public servants is very simple, be cool with them as long as I have access to them. I dont mind if the next PM is from Mars if I can get along with his team

shirib, the qabil thing is encoded into our blood stream regardless of locality, snet and other online folks are more honest. These places are like when you are on a long flight and you tell your secrets to the person sitting next to you because you know you won't see this person again. Anonymity is what makes ppl talk their mind freely.

Somalis are still in the WE/US group mentality. Today, a guy wanted to make a joke on an MJ sub-tribe. Before he said anything else, he started with "Do we we have any Isse Mohamuds here?" This tells you every person is treated as a tribal rep.

And yes, every talk in all Somalia fadh kudirir bars revolves on clan politics.

Puntland is a peaceful region and is going through a lot of changes internally (elections, constitution, etc), but the Mareexaan constituency are in the midst of all the important issues of the day that needs to be sorted out in the next four years. They will form one of the biggest federal states of the union, have complicated relations with neighboring countries, and are heavily divided. If the president can make his mark and change Somalia for good, he should pick the pm from this constituency during this pivotal moment. I think Puntland is more suited for this position when all the federal states are built.

Warya,

Are You telling Me people do fadhi ku dirir IN Somalia? I thought that was a qurbo thing and that people in Somalia don't have time for that shid and are just trying to survive. One thing I've noticed is very recent arrivals from Somalia always seemed less interested in knowing what My qabiil was than people who've been here for a long time.

My guy, majority of people in Somalia don't have jobs, they have all the time in the world. What else would they do?
