That series is interesting, I've watched all the episodes.

Really more than anything it shows how when religion (ANY religion) and politics blur together, evil men are given enormous opportunities to sidestep morality, decency and even logic, as religion has such a hold over people they can be convinced that any action, no matter how evil, is just.
